Lever/Lever

To fix the door handle of a lever that is sagging it is necessary to find the hole for access to the detent or pin, which is typically a small round or rectangle shape hole or protruding pin situated on one side of the base plate. Once you have located the hole for accessing the detent or pin, you can remove it with a screwdriver.
Once the handle is placed horizontally, you can install the screws. Tighten them to ensure that the handle remains firmly attached to the base plate. You should also consider applying an adhesive that locks the screw threads to increase the grip and prevent them from loosening over time.
Drooping lever handles on door handles could be the result of various causes. The most common reason is that the fixings are over tightened, and are putting pressure on the bearings of the lever, causing it to bind against the door face. It could also be that the levers are not being operated in a straight line and this is causing compression of the latch mechanism, preventing it from fully springing back into service.
The most common reason for a sprung lever not working properly is that the spring is not being in the proper position on the backplate. The easiest way to test this is to turn the handle to see whether it returns to its horizontal position.
It is important to fix any door handles that are damaged immediately. This can cause excessive wear on the screws, and the handle may even be able to fall off the base plate. It is also a good idea to tighten all loose screws regularly, as this will help to prevent them from becoming loose.
